Patriots 28560 will be gathering in downtown New Bern, NC in support of the Coastal Carolina Taxpayers Association Tax Day T.E.A. Party Protest. Our goal is to double last year's attendance in an effort to educate, inform and attract like-minded Patriots who are concerned about Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Market Principles.

Patriots 28560 members, friends and concerned citizens will be rallying early at various locations throughout our communities and will caravan to downtown New Bern in multiple Rolling Rallies. Meet-up locations for our caravans are tentative.

RALLY POINT

4 p.m., Havelock: Westbrook Shopping Center near CVS Pharmacy. Look for the American flags, as well as the Gadsden (Don't Tread on Me) flags.

HOW A ROLLING RALLY WORKS

Our caravan of vehicles from Havelock will roll into downtown New Bern together, then park and join other Patriots as we prepare to march from the courthouse to Union Point Park. Don't forget your signs. And you can also purchase window paint at WalMart and make sure your anti-tax and pro-fiscal responsibility messages are visible as we travel from Havelock to New Bern. We'll have Gadsden flags (and poles) available for purchase at the rally point. Flags are 3' x 5', double-stitched WITH pole for only $15. Patriots 28560 does not charge any type of dues or membership fees and the Gadsden flags are part of our fund-raising efforts.

IMPACT

Our goal is to have each car display a small (or large, especially if you have a truck) American flag as well as signs and window paint identifying us as Patriots headed to a Tax Day Tea Party Protest. We'll take photos, videos and invite the media to cover our rallying points and Rolling Rally.

There is strength in numbers and imagine the effect of hundreds of cars filling Highway 70 from Havelock to New Bern, proudly displaying our Nation's flag and our determination to resist excessive government spending, taxation, and takeover.
